By selecting “European Citizen”, a healthcare professional—provided they are a physician—shall be granted access to the Health Summary of a European citizen temporarily present in Cyprus. This access ensures that the professional has all necessary health information to deliver appropriate and safe medical care.
Concurrently, a pharmacist shall be authorized to dispense a cross-border prescription issued in the patient’s country of origin, thereby guaranteeing the uninterrupted continuation of the patient’s prescribed therapy.
